More details on damage messages
An attack will show this:
You pierce '''<weapon type>''' young starving wolf very hard '''<strength>''' and hurt '''<result>''' it.
''Weapon type'' is the type of damage dealt by the weapon, e.g. ''piercing'' or ''mauling''. Armor and shield types can react differently to different weapon types.
Where''Strength'' is how hard the hit itself is. The scale is:very lightly, (possibly something here), hard, very hard, extremely hard, deadly hard.
:*''PierceResult'' is the weapon severity of the resulting wound. This includes all existing damage if you are using (hit an existing wound, so even a sword in this example):*1 damage hit can give ''Very Harddamages'' if it hits an already severe wound. The scale is how hard you hit. It goes from Very lightly to Deadly hard.:*''Hurt it'' is the resulting damage that is dealt. It goes from Slap to Damageslaps, irritates, hurts, harms, damages.
DamageThe damage message varies depending on what weapon you are using, For example a 15dmg cut with a short sword might be a damage. If you did that with a huge sword it may only be a harm. So claiming Xmessage is Xdamage is incorrect. A damage with a heavy weapon is considered more than a damage with a light weapon. [[Category:Skills]][[Category:Babel/F]]
