For this reason it is often advisable to use [[Pine]] as your primary wood type for most of your ship as it is currently the fastest growing tree.<BR>Currently [[cedar]] decays slower than any other wood type in game, therefore it is best to ensure that the finished boat/ship is made of [[cedar]].
