some links and my 2 cents
You can pray at other locations than altars, depending on your [[Gods|god]]. While these actions will still give you prayer skill, praying at these locations does not increase your faith.
:* [[Fo]] - [[Tree#Tree/Bush Ages|Very old trees]].
:* [[Vynora]] - [[Water tiles]].
:* [[Magranon]] - [[Rock tile]]s.
* "You send your prayers to Vynora."
* "Your pocket suddenly feels heavier." - Got some iron coins
* "Your legs tingle and you feel unstoppable." - [[Player status effect|Farwalker effect]], dont know how long it lasts
* "Vynora gives you some favor." - guess (about 10 favour i think)
* "nothing special seems to happen."
* "Vynora puts something in your pocket." - Get a gift can be one of:- [[Gems|Gem]], [[Salt]], [[Flint ]], [[Mushroom]](not sure what else!)
* "Vynora grants you faster favor gain." [2x favor gain for 5 minutes.]
* "You are blessed with some Mind logic."- can probably be any [[Characteristic]] (+0.000099 up to +0.000101)
