Most vets on Freedom carry a boatload of tools with me them wherever they go. But they also have armor, weapons, and skills to defend themselves. (Disclaimer: DO NOT WANDER THE WILD SERVER WITH YOUR TOOLS). But for a new player, you won't have the [[body strength|strength]] to both carry lots of tools ''and'' escape [[spider]]s, etc. Here's a list of very useful tools:
* [[Hatchet]] for cutting down trees, making kindling. [[Small axe]]s also work AND double as a [[weapon]].
