== Description ==
A large axe with a wooden shaft. Axes are used for either [[woodcutting|cutting]] down trees, as an component of an [[axe trap]], or for [[fighting]].
Axes deal cutting damage when used in battle. Axes do not parry so should be considered strongly for use with [[aggressive fighting]]. Axes are the fastest weapon in its class and do the least damage before [[:Category:armour|armour]] modifiers.
