Talk:Libila

Today when trying to winch a catapult my Libila priest received the message "Libila would not approve of that."

Is this a bug? or just an undocumented penalty for priests? The closest I can find is that "Priests cannot steal, pick locks or destroy structures." However Libila is supposed to be the exception to this rule.

If this isn't a bug then it should be added to the Libila page for completeness, as well as a warning for prospective priests. --Funkapus 07:31, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

consuming player corpse clarification

Tried to consume a player corpse, on my deed and off, there was no option in right click. Self resolved, but some important bits of misinformation seems to of made its way around.

After some debate with the CA staff and several people via CA help and GL on this subject, I have come up with a entry for the pedia that should prevent further confusion.

"(PvE Only) “Consume Corpse” ability to regain health from corpses by consuming their residual life energy.

  • Only usable on non-butchered, non-damaged corpses, and when permissions would allow butchering. *Health gained scales with creature CR, depending on creature type, age, and conditions (such as Champion or Greenish). *Automatically targets your most severe wound, like healing spells. *Sets corpse as “butchered”, so there is a choice between this and butchering products. *When Rite of Death is in effect, Consume Corpse has a chance of triggering an effect similar to a Mindstealer enchantment. *10-minute cooldown timer."

First off, you do NOT need to be damaged for this to work, this is with mentioning because every debate used this as the cause for not being able to consume.

Secondly, and more importantly, you have to have an item, such as a pickaxe, selected before the consume option shows itself.

To be determined of 20 faith is required as a follower to do this, as the follower abilities generally kick in at 20

gardening and leather item improvment clarifications

Libila priests can use gardening. Libila priests can not improve leather items, so the follower bonus to leather improving does not apply.
