Description
A natural fence made from planting Hedges are planted on tile borders using 5 sproutsof the same type per border. All but the lowest hedge sizes block movementAs hedges grow, they will appear taller ranging from low, medium, and peak.
It appears that different hedges will grow to different possible heights== Different Hedge Types ==<gallery>Image:Cedar_hedge.png | Cedar hedgeImage:Camellia_hedge.png | Camellia hedgeImage:Oleander_hedge.jpg | Oleander hedgeImage: Thorn hedge.jpg | Thorn hedgeImage: Rose hedge.jpg | Rose hedgeImage:high_maple_hedge.jpg | Maple hedgeImage:lavender_plantation.jpg | Lavender plantations</gallery>
== Hedge Materials Planting==Types * The types of hedge sprouts that can be used to create hedges are: Camellia, Cedar, Lavender, Maple, Oleander, Rose, and Thorn. Types that * Hedges are not available are: Apple, Birch, Blueberry, Cherry, Chestnut, Fir, Grape, Hazelnut, Lemon, Linden, Oak, Olive, Orange, Pine, Raspberry, Walnut, Willow. == Creating ==A total of planted on tile borders using 5 sprouts of the same type are needed to plant a hedge. Unlike actual fences, there is no skill requirement based on the tile per border's slope* Hedges can't only be planted on crop tile borders or packed dirt tile borders. You need to have where at least 5 sprouts one of the same kind in your inventory. Note that failure bordering tiles is possible - Sadly, the sprout does not survive despite your best efforts. You lose one sprout if you fail.  == Destroying ==* Can be cut down like a tree with an activated hatchetdirt, Right-click - Cut down. A sickle can also be used to destroy a low hedge.* Can also be destroyed just as any other fence using a bashing tool. Catapultsteppes can also work on them. ** , or Body strengthgrass of 21 is required(including trees and bushes). ** Pruning hedge to medium or low length before bashing increase the damage tremendously. == Growing ==Wild growthCrops advances a hedge 1 growth-stage (makes low medium, and medium high, if the hedge type grows that tall). Prune with a sicklepacked dirt (or other bladed tools) to make them 1 growth shorterdo not count as dirt. ** The tile type can be changed after planting without destroying the hedge (On deed the manage option unless both'can cut old trees' must be enabled). == Height ==All hedges start at low height, which does not impede movement. They will then grow to medium height upon which they tiles become impassable and eventually reach peak height (tall as a house wallrock). The two exceptions to this are: * Lavender hedges stay at Hedges cannot be planted on the lowest height and therefore remain passablesame border as an arched wall of any type.* Camellia hedges stop growing upon reaching medium heightHedges don't have slope limitations for creating, which permits seeing over the hedge while blocking movementunlike fencesHedges can be temporarily trimmed shorter by pruning but * Failure to plant will regrow againdestroy one sprout.
Growth
* Newly planted hedges are 'low' and wont block movement until reaching a height of 'medium', or line of sight until 'high'.
* The spell Wild Growth will progress a hedge one stage towards its peak height.
* Hedges can be pruned one stage shorter per pruning action using a sickle (to a minimum of 'low'), but will eventually re-grow unless destroyed.
* Hedges do not shrivel with age.
* Lavender hedges stay at the lowest height and therefore remain passable.
* Camellia hedges stop growing upon reaching medium height, blocking movement but allowing line of sight.
* Hedges do not blossom with seasonal produce nor do they produce sprouts.

Trivia
As a priest can't attach parts, this is the only fence type they can build.
These cannot be built on the border of an Arched Wall.
Hedges can be dyed, takes 1.0kg of dye per hedge.
