Black dye on Lanterns
Tested : --Axeblade (talk) 03:29, 11 July 2012 (CDT) on the test server due to 70 skills and the ability to spawn iron in mass loads for ql control.
With 40ql to 50ql Lanterns and iron torch lamp. And a 94ql lantern. Dyed in a range of Black, white and Blue. I am unable to notice anything else than the light dims a little when dyed black, No effect on other light sources. Aye under the current lighting code, using black dye just greys out the light a little. It used to be that using high QL white would brighten the source a little, except brass that was unpaintable. Using other colors would tint the light a bit for that color depending on the ql. --Klaa (talk) 02:31, 13 July 2012 (CDT)

The recent page deletion/redirection
Articles are not supposed to be deleted and redirected to their ingame equivalent in the Item namespace (e.g. Item:Onion). The ingame help articles are not supposed to have a special formatting etc. or worse, tables. The articles in the global namespace can be made as beautiful as far as your skills go.

Making Dye
Has anyone experimented using different amounts of water when making dye? Does it seem to affect the QL of the resulting dye. This might good information to add on this page as well.
Adding amphoras and fixing non-dyeable items
This should really be updated to include Amphoras to replace fountain containers (above the 'thought to be paintable' table), as well as the paint amounts table, as some of those are not paintable right now. The cloth hood takes paint, but shows nothing and the shop sign doesn't take paint. it's possible there are more.
I also don't think colossus are paintable though I haven't tried. I'll test some theories and report back. (If anyone wants to help, please do!)
Removing some notes from the main side
* Black dye has little effect on a light source (No black light) and only dims the light a little. And it doesn`t dim light sources around it.
** Testing reveals An excellent black dye (R=12 B=12 G=13) on a 45ql lantern light looks the same as a 40ql no dye lantern and a little dimmer than a 43ql white dyed lantern.
* A 2.5ql rare copper lump produced a 3.5ql dye
