: Certain animals like boars and poultry die reguarily as part of population control, this is true. However, other animals seem to live forever. As one example, Azzu had a pet spider for over six months in gold-1. I have reworded the article as a middle ground. - Dashiva 20:12, 10 October 2007 (CDT)

I was always under the impression that animals that are older hit harder than young animals. I have noticed this with many animals. fr example, Young crocodiles deal about 30 damage through chain, old crocs deal about 50 damage through chain. ~Madt

Age effecting fighting strength was added in the new system, so re-adding it to the page --Manny 03:48, 24 November 2007 (CST)

Disambiguation page would be nice for animals and trees. Maybe we could even add to the fighting capabilities of older animals. -Mojo 13:58, 1 April 2009 (CDT)
