It can be [[Load cargo|loaded]] into vehicles and ships, but cannot be picked up into a player's [[inventory]]. == Usage == * A large crate can hold up to 300 items, regardless of individual item [[volume]].* Items that fit in [[bulk storage bin]]s or [[food storage bin]]s also fit in crates.* Large crates can be stored in vehicles.* Large crates can also be stored in a [[crate rack]] by moving them from a vehicle's cargo hold to the crate rack.* Large crates may be [[Load cargo|loaded]] while full or empty, but cannot be picked up into the [[inventory]].** Loading requires 23 [[body strength]].* Large crates may be [[:Category:Hauled_items|hauled]] up or down through floor openings with ladders.** To haul down, you must be on the same floor opening as the crate, not below it.** To haul up, you must be on the floor opening above the crate.** Hauling only works on floor openings with ladders, not with stairs or gaps in the floor. == Notes == * Requires 60 [[carpentry]] to create and continue.* Has a 23% creation chance with a 1 QL [[plank]].* The plank's [[QL]] affects the success chance.* The crate itself has a volume of 1,728, empty or otherwise.* Prevents decay of its contents similar to [[bulk storage bin]]s and [[food storage bin]]s.* 5% of each stored item is lost every 28 days.
