Description
Fuel is anything that keeps a fire going.

Usage
Fires can be fueled by activating the fuel and then selecting Burn on the fire's right-click menu. Alternatively, leaving the fuel inside the fire till the fuel decays from fire damage also works.

Burn time is dependent on the QL of the container and the total weight of the fuel being added. As a guide, 20 kg is the maximum effective amount of fuel. Any more fuel added above that amount will still be accepted and burned, but will not add to the burn time.

:* Birch wood is 2x more effective than non-birch wood (1kg of birch = 2kg of fuel)
:* Tar is 8x more effective than non-birch wood (1kg of tar = 8kg of fuel)
:* Peat is 4x more effective than non-birch wood. Peat has a default weight of 10kg. (1 x 10kg of peat = 40kg of fuel)

Types of Fuel
* Any wood products (except starter kit wooden shields)
** Kindling
* Tar
* Olive oil
* Animal fat
* Cotton and cloth tailoring products
== Messages ==Examine a fire container to check how much fuel is remaining. The following responses indicate roughly how much fuel is still in the fire.
20kg * * inline * * inline* * * * inline * inline
== Notes ==* As a general rule of thumb, when "The the fire burns steadily " (with most fire containers), you have at least 30 minutes from the time you examine and will still burn for a long see that message to the time." ~5-20kg of fuel* "The the fire burns with wild flames and still has much unburnt materialout." ~3-5kg of fuel* "The As the fire is starting begins to fade." ~1-3kg of fuel* "A few flames still dance on die out, any items in the fire but soon they too container will die."* "A layer of ashes is starting begin to form on the glowing coalscool."* "A few red glowing coals can be found under a bed of ashes."* "The fire is not lit."
It is recommended to add more fuel until "the fire burns steadily".== See also ==* Fire
