The guide is an NPC place in and around the starting points for both servers. They instruct new players how to play, and will hand out the noob tools.
Conversion
They also allow you, on the wild server, convert to a different kingdom. For example, the guide for The Shroud can convert you to BL, the guide for The Landing can convert you to WL etc.
