Hedges are planted on tile borders using 5 sprouts of the same type per border. As hedges grow, they will appear taller ranging from low, medium, and peak.
==Planting==
* The types of sprouts that can be used to create hedges are: [[Camellia]], [[Cedar]], [[Lavender]], [[Maple]], [[Oleander]], [[Rose]], and [[Thorn]].
* Hedges are planted on tile borders using 5 sprouts of the same type per border.
* Hedges can only be planted on borders where at least one of the bordering tiles is [[dirt]], [[steppe]], or [[grass]] (including trees and bushes). **[[Crops]] and [[packed dirt]] do not count as dirt.** The tile type can be changed after planting without destroying the hedge (unless ''both'' tiles become [[rock]]).
* Hedges cannot be planted on the same border as an arched wall of any type.
* Hedges don't have slope limitations for creating, unlike fences.
* With a [[Body strength]] of 21, hedges can be destroyed by a [[Hatchet]] or any bashing tool.
* Low hedges are easier to destroy than taller hedges.
* The border under a hedge cannot be terraformed without first destroying the hedge.
