Hints and tips
*Look at the improvement column in your inventory to quickly see what you need to do next *Always use tools or items when improving an item raw materials that are around a higher quality than the same item you want to improve. *If you start to fail a lot, and are losing quality, it is usually a good idea to stop and maybe try later with better quality tools and/or higher skill.
*If Your skill (and equipment) affects the maximum quality you start can reach - don't try to fail alot, and push it too far!**While you are losing a good bunch able to improve things higher than the quality of qualityyour tools and your skill level, its usually a good idea to stop and maybe do pushing it latermore than 5-10 beyond them can take quite some time.
*try Improving takes time, make sure you have enough food & water for how long you intend to go past 4-6 quality on the skill that item uses. For Example when improving a mallet only go 4-6 higher on quality on my carpentry skillimprove.
*Make some timeImproving metal items (tools, usually about an hour depending on what your Improving or weapons, shields etc) require the item you intend to improve to what quality.More then enough times you lose be glowing hot - Keep the times since you get caught up item in the forge while improving.
How to improve
To improve an items all you have to do is this:
#Examine the item and it should say you want to improve to see what is needed like a (EG:/ log or a , chiseletc...)#Activate the needed improvement itemor tool#Repair you your item if needed.#Right click, Improvements->Improve
Improving Bonuses
Usually when improving something, your skill will go up more and raise faster then just creating itemsthan with item creation. Not It is a good idea to mention if you constantly repair and improve stuff concentrate on certain items for certain skills such as a wooden Statue for Masonry or a Wooden fence could really help your for Carpentry  ==Hints and Tips==*carpentryWooden fences skill and your walls can be improved with planks.*You must use a higher ql item to improve an item. You can not improve a 20ql mallet with a 1ql repairinglog skill.*Fences can be improved with out having to repair them.*Only raw materials must have a greater ql than the item your are repairing, tools do not need to be higher ql.*Ask fellow players for a spare pelt when starting out.
