A strange rock sent from the heavens, glistening with flecks of pure metal.

Meteorites contain different, high-quality metals that can be mined directly as searing hot lumps. These include all metals except moonmetals and alloys.
They can remain on the ground for some time after falling.
Meteor showers are spawned by the Ritual of the sun.
The quality of the metal produced by a meteorite is capped by the mining skill.
Meteorites take can produce about ~50 lumps before being depleted.
Meteorites faintly illuminate the area around them, making them slightly easier to locate at night.
