Changes

A tool with a hard head attached perpendicular to the handle, used primarily for [[mining]]. It is rather effective as a primary fighting toolweapon compared to other tools, used well in conjunction with a [[small axe]]. This setup is ill-advised but should be disregarded once you have access to proper weaponry.

Note that there are 2 versions of the pickaxe: the wooden 'newbie' pickaxe which you cannot improve or lose at but does not drop upon death, and the normal iron version which can be improved, but stays with your corpse when you die.
