−	An item's quality can affect numerous aspects of its use. The quality of the item varies with the skill of its creator, and often the quality of the materials that were used in its production. Higher quality items are more valuable both functionally and economically. A higher number will produce a significantly lower decay rate for the item. Unfortunately, when an item receives damage and must be repaired, a portion of the quality of that item is lost. A higher repair skill lessens the tax on an item's quality in the repair phase.
