The shaker orb can be used to collapse an empty tile that has both a support beamed rock tile on the right and on the left of the empty tile being collapsed. The support beamed tiles are still there, and they are not removed.
For instance: 0 = empty (walkable tile); X = support beamed tile; R = rock tile.
In this example you can collapse all of the 0 tiles. (You can not collapse the tiles already fill with rock.)
RX0XR {| border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" style="text-align:center;"RR0RR |R || R || 0 || R || RRR0XR |-|R || X || 0 || X || R|-|R || R || 0 || R || R|-|R || R || 0 || X || R|-|R || R || 0 || R || R|}R=Rock; 0=Empty; X=Support Beamed Tile<BR>RR0XR
You could collapse all 0 (empty) tiles making it look like this:
RRRRR {| border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" style="text-align:center;"RXRXR |R || R || X || R || RRRRRR |-RRRXR |R || X || X || X || R|-|R || R || X || R || R|-|R || R || X || X || R|-|R || R || X || R || R|}R=Rock; X=Support Beamed Tile<BR>
After which you could mine out all of the R tiles again. But not the X, unless you are mayor of that tile.
