One that exists only as lore or game mechanics, one you can [[fishing|catch]] as [[fish]], and the hostile Shark (creature generally referred to as [[monster]]. = Types of shark === Server border sharks (mechanics) ==One of Wurm's game features is travelling to other [[server]]s in the [[cluster]], that can be connected at their [[map]] borders north, east, south, and/or west. Through word of mouth, they have gained reputation in lore but they are not real sharks. If you're getting close to - a border that is not connectedlarge, aggressive fish you will get orange event messages to warn you: You can see dark shadows moving beneath the waves. An enourmous shark scouts you from below. Suddenly, strong winds (and waves throw you overboardfight! Eventually you will automatically and repeatedly be disembarked from your [[ship]] or [[boat]]. If you're AFK and sailing with [[Key_bindings#Default_keybindings|Autorun]] enabled, it will be turned off, so you won't [[drown]]. Boats can then no longer be sped up towards ) swimming in the server border, and need to be turned around. You can embark your vessel as a passenger to regain staminaoceans. === The currents work against you and you get nowhere ===If you're too close to the border, this will be the final warning message that immediately disembarks you. Boats have to be turned around using the right-click options ''Move > Turn item clockwise'' or ''Move > Turn item counterclockwise'', or being [[drag]]ged.
