*Sharks are very powerful swimmers and can easily catch up to players in rowboats and alike. For adventuring out into the ocean its extremely advised you sail in a [[Cog]], or better.
*Sharks only seem to appear whenever a new server is opened, and do not spawn randomly.
*Note that these sharks should not be confused with the sharks that you catch through fishing.
