I just read on the forums (http://wurmonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9264) that moss is a component of green dye.  As I don't know for sure myself, I'll put this here for now.  If someone else knows for sure that this is true, feel free to add it to the page. I suppose you mean this quote, from Shade?

That was a suggestion if I understood it correctly. I can't say for sure if moss can be used for making green dye, but I doubt it does.
