In December of 2016, as Winter tightened it's icy grasp across the lands of Wurm, Blackmoor stood against it, for within its walls it contained the beauty that is an Impalong, its warmth filling Wurmians old and new with Christmas spirit of giving. ''[https://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/144935-blackmoor-christmas-impalong-2016/| The Blackmoor Christmas Impalong of 2016]'' drew folks from far and wide to partake in the improvement of eachother's gear, games such as fighting tournaments and musical chairs, and hoards of the most vile creatures the Wurmian landscape had ever seen were spawned by the masters(GM's).

Folks gathered from across the land, to take part in the festivities that an even grander Impalongprovides, one worthy including the huge scavenger hunts, fishsmithing games, and the great gladiatorial event dubbed the Tournament of bearing the name "Impalong"..Carnage.
