Question obsolete references to drift
Creating Anchors is blacksmithing yes, but this page is for Mooring anchor, which is attaching a mooring rope to an anchor, which uses Ship building skill. [[User:Malaclypse|Malaclypse]] 11:18, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

According to a post by [[User:Army|Army]] on August 27, 2024 at https://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/203438-patch-notes-27-aug-2024/&tab=comments#comment-2012894:
* Change: Drifting of unmanned boats has been removed, even if they are not moored with a mooring anchor. Drifting has rarely ever occurred in practice due to bugs, and rather than cause significant inconvenience for players by fixing that, we've made the decision to officially remove it. Mooring anchors will still prevent players from dragging or pushing boats without permission.
Perhaps we should eliminate references to drift on this and related Wiki pages?
