To send the mail, drop the [[item]](s) into the [[Mail#Types|spirit container]], right-click the [[mail]]box, and click ''Send''. A dialogue will come up asking for various details, such as if you want to send it as ''Cash On Delivery'' and to whom you're sending. If sending multiple items you'll need to check the boxes for the items you wish to send.

The postage is 10 [[Bank of Wurm|copper]] per item if the receiver is on the same server. You will be charged 20 copper per item if the receiver is on another server.
Items sent in containers still count, so for example a [[backpack]] with 3 [[wood scrap]]s in it would cost you 4 x 40 copper (1x backpack, 3x wood scrap) to send due to being counted as 4 separate items.
It is currently not possible to send mail between servers.
