Updated the Dredge page to follow the new examine-text format by moving the in-game examine text into the itemBox with |examine=. Added a practical Description section, cleaned up Usage and Notes formatting, improved wording, and added links for related terms such as shovel, water, quality, clay, stamina, rowboat, and rock tile.

Description
A dirty sack with four metal blades along its rim. A rope is attached to it. The idea is that you drag it along the bottom and gather mud.
The A dredge's main ability is a tool used to gather materials from underwater tiles and to dig from below water level. The maximum the depth you that can dredge may normally be determined by your digging skill. Dredge quality is also known to affect maximum depth. To dredge deeper than 7 dirts below water level, which is reached with a shovel's limit, you need to be on a boat or ship. You cannot dredge at a depth greater than 180 dirt below sea level.
== Creating Usage ==* The quality of the rope affects your success chance.* The quality of the square piece of cloth affects the initial quality of the dredge.
== Using ==* The dredge's main use is digging from below water level, since digging with a shovel can only be done down to 7 dirt below water level.Dredging works similar to * Dredge quality and digging: Move on top of skill affect the corner maximum depth you want to dig can dredge.* You cannot dredge ata depth greater than 180 dirt below sea level.* A dredge can hold 2 piles of dirt or heaps of sand (40 kg), or 36 clay (72 kg), before it requires emptying.** When dredging, right-click there must be space in the dredge and in the boat or ship for the materials you are on, and select Dredgewould acquire. * You do may not have to right-click any dredge stone.* Be careful when dredging while swimming, as you will quickly run out of stamina and drown. The dredged material appears inside * A rowboat is the best boat to dredgefrom, as it is easier to see the tiles below you than on other boats.
On bigger ships you may have to embark as passenger to get the option to dredge, because as the commander you might technically be too far way from the boat to use it. It is also a good idea to moor your ship or boat before dredging.== Notes ==
You can * The quality of the rope affects your success chance.* The quality of the square piece of cloth affects the initial quality of the dredge all kinds .* Failure damages both the rope and the square piece of materialcloth.* Improvement uses blacksmithing skill but carpentry tools: mallet, for instance clayfile. However, claycarving knife, peatpelt , and tarlog tiles will only lower if .* Dredging works similar to digging, though you can be embarked on a boat or ship to dredge. Move on top of the corner you want to dig at, right-click the boat or ship you are digging at on, and select Dredge. The dredged material appears inside the boat.* In order to level a tile to flat, you must be over an already-flat tile that is close next to some terraformable the nearby tile typethat is to be flattened. The material dug is generally determined by Level option will only appear on tiles outside of the boat and very near.* On bigger ships, you may have to embark as a passenger to get the option to dredge, because as the tile commander you are closest might technically be too far away from the boat to its northwest corneruse it.  == Notes ==* It is also a good idea to moor your ship or boat before dredging.* A You can dredge can holdall kinds of materials, for exampleincluding clay, 2 piles of dirtpeat or , heaps of sandtar (40kg), or 36 clay (72kg)gems, before it requires emptyingand valrei items.* It is much easier to see the bottom if you turn off water reflections in the game's video settings.
