,Added "Eggs left on enchanted grass or a rock tile will not hatch."
If eggs are left outside on the ground or in a container, they will [[decay]]. When they have fully decayed, a chicken may hatch. Note that any egg stored in a bulk container is no longer fertile. Upon examining an egg, you will see if it is fertile or not.
* Eggs must be placed on a [[Grass]], [[Dirt tile]], or [[Crops]] in order to hatch. Eggs left on [[enchanted grass]] or a [[rock tile]] will not hatch.
**10% of eggs will hatch into chicks, though this percentage likely varies based on creature populations.
