Main / Religion / PAGENAME
===Description===Faith gives priests the ability to cast spells at certain levels - see the information on each god for more information on these spells.
You gain faith (and some favor) by praying at altars after converting to a religion. The maximum amount of favor you can get while praying Faith is equal to your current level the ethereal power of faithreligious belief. You can gain faith 5 times per real-life dayIn Wurm, but you must leave 20 minutes between these prayers. Any prayers in between these 5 prayers will not raise your it also gives faithpriest but will get your prayer skill ups the ability to cast spells and commit to other unique activities.
You cannot raise faith above 30 without becoming a priest.==Prayer==
At 10 *To gain faith(and also favor), you may a player can desecratepray at an altars. In order to do this, however, one must first choose and convert to a religion.
At 20 faith, there are god specific bonuses. Vynora*Praying may take place in back-Small Exp. gain / Foto-Healing bonus / Magranon-Fight skill bonus / Libilaback sessions, but a 20-minute cool-Fight down period is needed between prayers in order for each subsequent prayer to count toward further faith skill bonusgain, up to five times per day.
At 30 *While additional prayer attempts between these cool-down periods will not raise faith, they will increase the player's prayer skill. If faithis not gained from a prayer, you may travel to the Altar of Three(WL) or action will not be counted against the five prayer per day limit. This scenario occurs when praying as non-Bone Altar(BL) (depending which of the Gods you follow) and become a premium of your god. If you're on the Freedom server, you'll need to find a priest from your religion with 40 faith to perform a ritual for you in order to become a priest yourself.
At 40 faith, you can identify to which god an item was blessed: examining a blessed item will have "It bears an aura of <god>" in its description.==Faith-Based Abilities==
At 50 As a player gains faithalong their religious journey, you they can become a champion of your god on the Epic Elevation server; this does not carry over expect to the Freedom cluster, however. You can also randomly get flintdiscover new, salt, and gems from prayingfaith-based abilities. The following are some but not all of those reported abilities:
===Other Information===- At 10 faith, it becomes possible to sacrifice at altars and to desecrate altars.
*Faith - At 20 faith, god-specific bonuses become available. (Vynora-Small Exp. gain is not affected by / sleep Fo-Healing bonus/ Magranon or by praying at different types of altars (i.e. made of gold, silver, stone, or wood). Faith -Fight skill is not lost when a player dies. *It can take a player approximately 12 days (praying five times a day) to reach the 30 faith needed to become a bonus / priestLibila.*It can take a player approximately 100 days (praying five times a day--Fight skill bonus) to reach 70 faith, at which point most spells are available.
- At 30 faith, it becomes possible to become a priest of your chosen god. For additional information on the process of achieving such priesthood at this point, see priest. - At 40 faith, it becomes possible to identify to which god an item was blessed: examining a blessed item will have "It bears an aura of <god>" in its description. - At 50 faith, one can become a champion of their chosen god. For more detailed information on championhood, see champion.  ==Additional Notes== *Without becoming a priest, it is not possible to raise faith above 30. *Faith-gain is not affected any differently by sleep bonus or by praying at different altar or tile types; all faith-gain is the same.  *Faith is not lost when a player dies. *Faith gained on sermon is affected by altar rarity. (+1% for rare, +2% for supreme, +3% for fantastic). ==Sermons=== Holding a sermon will reward a preacher with is yet one more way in which a player may gain faith -related bonus when bonuses. This involves holding a service and preaching to a group of nearby listeners.   Procedure *To hold a sermon, activate a statuette, right click an altar, and select Preach.*A valid listener is a premium player of the same kingdom and of any religion, who is within 4 tiles of the one giving the sermon (both follower being mounted or prieston foot within this distance does not matter; being embarked on any type of vehicle, cart, however, invalidates the listener), who has . Listeners are allowed to sit. They must also have not done gained or lost any actions that normally give alignment gain in within the past 30 minutes and . If the player is near already at maximum alignment, the alignment change might not be visible, but will still invalidate the preacher (4 tiles)listener. Note that listening to a sermon will always result in an alignment change. *Sermons give The minimum number of listeners for faith-gain to take place is 4. At a normal altar the priest successfully holding a sermon gains 0.02 faith per valid listener (priest included) in the area. Faith bonus for altar rarity is an extra 1% for rare, minimum listeners 2% for faith gain is 4 supreme, and maximum gain seems like its 2.60 (not confirmed)3% for fantastic. *The priest giving the sermon does NOT not count as a listener. So you need 7 players total to reset the prays for the day (the preacher and 6 valid listeners). *Sermons reset the prayer counter have a three-hour cooldown period for the preacher if 6 valid listeners (including sermon-giver, and within this time, the preacher) attendedplayer cannot give another sermon. This counts only for Freedom serversWithin this cool-down period, however, preachers on the same preacher can effectively serve as a listener in another priestEpic servers do not get this benefits sermon. **If Note: if you did not gain at least 0.12 faith from the sermon itself, you did there were not have enough valid listeners present to reset your prayer counter.**Sermons do not reset the prayer  timerListener Benefits*Followers of sermons now count as long as you have a deity and are in the same kingdom (since update of 2/05/2012)*A sermon has a three hour cooldown for the preacher. Within this time, the preacher cannot give another sermon. Although, within this window that same preacher can be a listener in another priest's sermon.**Server day reset does not reset the 3h cool down**If your listeners have less than 100.00 alignment , they may gain up to 4 alignment depending on the number of listeners (+ for WL, - for BL) *Sermons made Note: sermons given by different priests need to be spaced at least 30 mins minutes apart in order to countcontinue to benefit the listener.*A player with an alignment gain in the last 30mins doesn`t count toward towards a sermon (they won Additional Priest Benefitst cause a Sermon to fail but they wont count so make sure you have enough listeners excluding them) **Alignment gains exceeding 100.00 still count as a gain Sermons reset the prayer counter for sermon purposes. Even the preacher if you have 100.00 alignment, doing any actions that would normally give alignment gain will still invalidate you as a listener6 valid listeners attended.  *A mounted player Sermons also indicate how much praying is required until the chosen godcan count as a listener s ritual (mounted on horseRitual of the sun, Rite of spring, Holy crop, but not embarked on a cartor Rite of death)is ready to be performed.
