Description

An animal with eight legs, has a light red color to it. Also appears to be on fire.

Clawing and biting attacks. Clawing as a primary attack.
8 tile eye sight (it will only attack you if you are less than 8 tiles away)
Can bash walls.
Can not swim.
Slower than regular huge spiders.
20-30 fighting skill with ~~full chain/plate recommended~~ full leather armor. (Home server)
Produces meat and charcoal when butchered.

A full leather armor is the bare minimum for fighting Lava Spiders at lower Fighting levels.

Chain/Plate is more suitable when facing a spider or any other animal which bites.
