Schmendict joined Wurm Online in September 2006 after hearing about it from his friends on a Ventrilo server. Joining the very first Redfield, his position of miner was usurped by Woot whom had joined recently. He became the town's chainsmith, and reached a high level of chainsmithing before the reset of Gold.
After Redfield 2 was disbanded due to a lack of activity, he, along with the other members of Redfield, travelled over to the Wild Server to join Dark Citadel as a Black-Lighter. After staying at Dark Citadel, the members of Redfield decided to found a new village, Cruorem.
