But porridge DOES work in a sauce pan, I used a sauce pan and made porridge in a sauce pan. So far every single thing I've tried other than water doesn't work with porridge. - Read up on talk:nutrition and gulasch, gulasch doesn't need water. Porridge does not work in a sauce pan. Try using a cauldron and something else than water.
