Questions for testing by Marni/purp 06:03, 21 May 2009 (CDT)

Are the wounds always new or can they affect other wounds already on the stomach area?
Do they, as some people say, heal faster than normal light wounds?
Has anyone experienced the glitch where drowning could occur on land?
Are animals affected by drowning?

Battlepants: Seems they are always a new drowning wound, I have had 15+ on my torso at once and they never stacked. Also, it actually seemed like this heal slower to me. (not actually measured though, just a hunch)

AvatarJTC: Perhaps the healing was slower because you were out of stamina?

AvatarJTC: I lead a tame dog while on a boat from Kinsaitos to a kilometer east of Samling. That journey was all on water, and the dog swam the entire time. It is safe to say dogs are not affected by drowning. Further testing with bears and crocodiles will be required before we are certain animals don't drown. This also could mean tame animals can't drown and wild animals can.

Untame animals lead with a rope while sailing/rowing don't drown. Who thought of that anyway? ;) --Ulviirala 07:22, 13 July 2009 (CDT)

Danar: Drowning wounds are displayed as fire damage ATM, they seem to stack each other now but I am unsure if it stacks with FA damage or lava damage. The latter might be untestable since lava damage is applied to the feet and drowning is not. Also not sure if they never stack with regular wounds or if animals just don't normally target the wound. 03:52, 18 October 2009 (CST)

I had a drowning wound today. It was listed as water(medium) at the head and was build up from 4 smaller wounds which stacked. Arvid 21:52, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Also, they seems to disappear at once : I had a bad drowning wound today, and it disappeared after some minutes on the land, without regressing to medium, light and very light beforehand. Tymst 11:05, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
