Tracking shows who, or what, has traversed a tile or near it within the past 3 Wurm days. Tracking is useful in any number of functions.

Tracking only works for the tile you are standing on when the timer finishes. This is regardless of the tile originally targeted.
The direction of the tracks one may see will correspond to the direction they are facing when the tracking action finishes.
With increased skill in tracking, one is more likely to effectively track movement and movement times on a tile as well as experience a shorter action timer in the process.
