Origin
A dragon scale is obtained by butchering The red dragon. They are unique and can be used with plate armour smithing to create dragon scale armour.
Creating
The scale armor is created using a large anvil. The pieces do not need to be heated.
- Use a 15kg scale on a large anvil to create armour.
- Is named "red dragon scale" ingame
- Desc: "Light but extremely tough, these red scales will withstand even the hardest of blows and the sharpest of cuts."
Scale armor is harder to create than plate armor.
Pieces
- Red dragon scale glove (0.3 kg)
- Red dragon scale sleeve (0.4 kg)
- Red dragon scale jacket (2.2 kg)
- Red dragon scale pants (1.2 kg)
- Red dragon scale boot (0.5 kg)
Notes
- There is no head protection piece made from scale.
- The scale armor itself is weak, and will take a lot of damage protecting the wearer.
- Like all plate smithing items, 10% of the scale will end up as scrap upon creation.
