Description
An animal with eight legs, has a light red color to it. Also appears to be on fire.
- Clawing and biting attacks. Clawing as a primary attack.
- 5 damage clawing and 5-20 average bites.
- Slower than a scorpion
- 8 tile eye sight (it will only attack you if you are less than 8 tiles away)
- Three times bigger then a normal Huge spider.
- Weak against swords.
- Does not destroy walls.
- Can not swim.
- Avoids deeded areas.
- 20-30 fighting with
full chain/plate recommendedfull leather armor. (Home server) - Huge spiders on the wild server are stronger then the spiders on the home server. This probably is the same for lava spiders.
Spawns in caves, lava, and very rarely spawn outside of either.Spawns near lairs.
Fighting Tips
Full plate/chain is recommended to fight one.
A full leather armor is the bare minimum for fighting Lava Spiders at lower Fighting levels.

Chain/Plate is more suitable when facing spider or any other animal which bites.
