I have not properly tested crops or onions as they are to valuable to use on healing at this stage.

I tried to apply a Garlic + Parsley (68ql) to a wound that already had one on it. Don't remember what it was made from, but it was only 4 power, so it is safe to say that a Garlic + Parsley is not very good.

Parsley was used in both the combos that did not work. Seems it is a weaker herb.

Had an occasion where a Lion's Paw in the mix got worse.

Rosemary + tooth got a [16] power result at low skill.

Rosemary + nettles got a [12] power result at low skill.

Looks like rosemary is a strong herb.

Had a bad wound that would normally go up by 10 damage every time it got worse. The power of a healing lowers the wound by that amount. So a [6] power heal means the wound goes up by 4. A [11] power healing would lower the wound by 1.

Main / Items / Natural Substances Items / Natural Healing Items

Description

Items made by alchemists to help cure wounds. Applying a healing cover will speed up the rate of the automatic healing, and if the cover is potent enough, it can heal severe wounds.

Method

You can make healing cover by mixing some botanized, foraged and/or butchered items. Equip the first item, right click on the 2nd, and click on Alchemy>>Mix.

Items Required

You can only mix 2 different items.
A new theory that eliminates the need of a table with every mixing combination is currently under development.

Multiplication Theory

There's a theory that items aren't additive, they're multiplicative. See link in subheading for more, + reference table.

Uzetaab's Notes

Seems that berries do not work in any combination.
Nor do the following:

Had a bad wound that would normally go up by 10 damage every time it got worse. The power of a healing lowers the wound by that amount. So a [6] power heal means the wound goes up by 4. A [11] power healing would lower the wound by 1.

Some severe wounds go up by 10 as well. So the same rules apply.

I kept applying heals to the wound, but never managed to get better than [9] power. However at some point the wound went down by 20 damage to a medium. So it pays to keep at it.

Lore works at 10+ natural substances skill. Tells you whether combo will be weak or strong.

Butchered items seem to last for more than one creation. It is possible to get 3 or 4 covers from only 2 items.

Shortass's Combining Matrix

Black MR = Black Mushroom
Blue MR = Blue Mushroom
Brown MR = Brown Mushroom
Green MR = Green Mushroom
● Two items of the same type cannot be combined.
