Description

Dig this tile with a shovel to get a heap of sand. Sand is used to make mortar with clay. Drop sand on a dirt tile to change it to sand. Drop dirt on a sand tile to change it back to dirt.

Sand has been used to prevent trees from growing, and is often used along highways to make the road more visible, and to make animals slower when crossing it.

Depending on location, the following types of Resource nodes can spawn on Sand tiles: Desert weeds, Dune grass and Mineral debris.
Submerged Sand tiles can also spawn Seaweed and Flotsam Resource nodes.
