Main / Skills / Cooking / Wine

Wine in Wurm is made from maple syrup and blue grape juice to make red wine or maple syrup and green grape juice to make white wine.

Unlike most other items, wine quality goes up over time. The least amount of wine creatable is 1kg of maple syrup in a pottery jar (use flasks to add up to 1kg) and .36kg of grape juice.

Wine has been shown to increase stamina as well as thirst, with the effect multiplying in higher quality wine. Wine is being investigated as a valuable fighting tool, allowing one to recuperate stamina while fleeing from an enemy.

If you fail while creating, all of the maple syrup is lost, and 0.6kg of grape juice is lost, regardless of the amount of maple syrup.

QL of the maple syrup affects success chance.

On success, when using .36kg of grape juice and 1kg of syrup, 1.3kg of wine is produced, and only 0.06kg of the juice is used.

As long as you have at least 0.36kg of grape juice for each 1kg of syrup, the exact amount does not seem to matter. Only 0.06kg of juice is consumed per kg of syrup, regardless of success or failure.
