Description

Kelp tiles occur naturally underwater and spread like grass tiles.

Kelp can be gathered from them using a sickle, and they can also be botanized..

If you dig on a kelp tile, you create a dirt tile. All the kelp tiles surrounding the digged corner will also turn into dirt tiles. Dropping dirt/sand however will raise the kelp without destroying it, allowing deep tiles to be harvested.
