Description

A shoulder pad of this design reduces piercing damage when equipped with medium or heavy armor.

Effects

The shielding shoulder pad gives medium and heavy armor a damage reduction vs piercing damage.

Notes

• Shoulder pads can be purchased with points awarded by participating in an active rift.
• Shoulder pads take damage when not in the player's inventory, on a merchant, in the mail, or in a magic chest.
• If dyed, shoulder pads must be removed and re-equipped to show color.
• One shoulder pad is sufficient to gain an effect if the shoulder pad grants one.
• The effect of one shoulder pad is one half that of a set of two.
• Different shoulder pads can be worn to gain multiple effects, one from each.
