Description

A giant net that should be laid out, entwining the trapper's enemies who trigger it.

Usage

This trap is used to temporarily reduce its victims movement speed. It is placed on tree and bush tiles, with traps skill influencing placement success.

Notes

  • Creation success is influenced by the active rope.
  • Improvement uses Ropemaking skill and the tools: scissors, needle, water, and string of cloth.
  • Creation or adding failure will damage both ropes for create or the item being added for continuing.
  • These are difficult to make. It would not be unusual for a low skilled ropemaker to destroy a cordage rope while trying to add it.
  • The trap's volume is huge; as an example, a single trap is too big to fit in a small cart.
  • Improving these is a very good way to train up Ropemaking.
  • Combined string of cloth bundles, used for improvement, will consume a lot more string compared to a uncombined .1-kg string. Although, single stings require more clicking since the whole .1-kg string will be used in one improvement.
  • As non-champ priests take faith reductions from improving, improving these for Ropemaking skill is not option for them. If you plan to sacrifice ropemaking items, do the improvement training before becoming a priest.
