  • Heaps of sand can be used with clay to make mortar.
  • They can be used to raise the terrain up and change several tile types into sand.
  • Heaps of sand can be dropped in two ways:
    • Dropping them on the ground will raise the tile below you, also turning some tiles to sand tiles (such as dirt, grass, and steppe).
    • Dropping as a pile will create a heap of sand that you are able to pick back up.
