A pet is the product from Taming animals.

Pets can be lead by making a rope active, right clicking on your pet and selecting lead. It will then follow you like a cow does.

If your pet is an animal that can swim, it will follow you into the water.

Orders

Pets can be given orders as well:

Pets can be told to walk to a tile within range of your mouse. Right click a tile, select pet, then select Go here. The pet will then walk to that spot.

Pets can be told to attack another person or animal. Right click the target, select pet, then select attack. The pet will then attack the target.

Pets can be told to stop by cancelling orders. Rightclick your pet, then select pet, then select cancel orders. It will cancel any orders to go places or attack (unless already engaged in combat).

Notes

The same rules for skill loss apply when a Whitelighter's pet attacks another Whitelighter who has a positive reputation.

A pet will auto attack another animal/player of another kingdom (or if the player/animal is negative in reputation or is aggressive). This includes auto attacking a friend's pet (at this stage).

To stop your pet from attacking in the middle of of combat you must be leading the pet. If you are, you simply walk away and your pet will follow.

You will lose your pet if you tame a different animal.
