Description
Wine is a beverage made from maple syrup and grape juice or cooked rice. It is stored in a wine barrel to age over time.
Creation
Wine requires combining an equal amount of grape juice/rice and maple syrup, and then ferments in a wine barrel.
Unlike most other items, wine quality goes up over time, as long as it stays in a sealed wine barrel.
Usage
Wine has been shown to increase stamina as well as thirst, with the effect multiplying in higher quality wine.
Wine will also give a temporary random skill affinity, with the duration varying depending on quality and amount drank.
Notes
- The rice wine recipe is available to everyone, but requires a high level of beverages skill to make.
- Wine barrels must be sealed with a peg for the wine to age.
- Wine will age better inside a building than outside (ie: where other items would have minimized decay, wine ages better).
- Best aging method known for wine is storing it in a oak wine barrel in a underground building on deed.
- Rice wine does not count toward the personal goal of making wine.
