Description

These are said to bring luck! Apart from improving horse speed and safety, of course.

Horse shoes are U-shaped metal items which can be equipped on a horse's hooves to help it move somewhat faster.

Can be made of any metal.

Can be worn by

Equiping

  • Tame or brand the animal you want to put the Horseshoe(s) on to
  • Right click the animal and choose look>equipment.
  • Open the Torso, Legs, and Forelegs
  • Drag and drop a individual Horseshoe to each hoof.

Note: Horse shoes MUST be cold before putting them on!

Notes

  • Horse shoes are damaged with every step the horse takes while mounted. Horse shoes are not damaged on horses being led.
  • The speed enhancement depends on the quality of the equipped horseshoes, with a higher speed bonus at higher quality.
  • Enchantment with Wind of Ages or Blessings of the dark will also add a speed enhancement, with a higher speed bonus at higher enchantment power.
  • Speed bonuses increase smoothly with increasing QL and enchantment power.
  • Horse shoes that turn rare, supreme, or fantastic will give an added speed bonus. Rare: 0.48 km/h speed bonus. Supreme: 0.96 km/h speed bonus. Fantastic: 1.44 km/h speed bonus.
