Description
A huge axe with a heavy head and a wooden shaft. You'll need to wield it with both hands.
Huge axe is the largest axe made with weapon smithing. It hits extremely hard with a reasonable attack speed, but rarely parries.
The huge axe is best suited for players who are not tanking: are either in a group with other players or have a pet tanking for them. Huge axes deal slashing damage, similar to swords, but cannot pierce, making them ineffective against heavily armored enemies. On lightly armored ones however, they are extremely effective - capable of killing in three hits at higher skill levels.
This weapon is best used in aggressive fighting.
The huge axe is wielded in two hands, so you cannot wield a shield with it.
