Description

Peat is a resource dug from peat tiles using a shovel. It is mainly used as fuel.

Peat can be used as fuel in campfires, ovens, stills, smelters, kilns, and forges.
Peat is four times as effective as wood when used as fuel.
Burning a 10 kg piece of peat is equivalent to burning 40 kg of wood, putting fire sources to their maximum burn time.

Peat tiles can be raised by dropping dirt or sand.
Peat tiles can be lowered with the level command if all corners are higher or level to an adjacent flat tile and your digging skill is at least 70.
Peat can be changed to another tile type using transmutation liquid.
