Body control is a characteristic that helps with accuracy and stealthing, and determines the mounts a player can ride.
The best method to gain body control is by fighting but smithing and carpentry both offer decent skill gain.
Chopping trees with a longsword also offers fantastic Body Control gains.
Archery on an archery target is excellent until about skill level 30.
Body control levels

The body control required to ride a cow has been slightly increased to over 20 [tested and able to ride at 20.000436 body control], hence you must now be premium to ride a cow. Free players can not ride any animal at the moment.
